Klarna is a Swedish invoice payment provider, that enables online retailers to offer their customers all the popular payment methods in one payment solution. Klarna was the most valuable fintech in Europe in 2019.

As Lead Product Designer, I was guiding all design efforts within the newly formed consumer banking team. Coming from Wavy, the P2P payment app of Klarna, I helped to set up the foundation. Created the initial concepts and designs for their new product and how it could fit into the “smoooth” world of Klarna. To be able to offer the newest Klarna product to more German customers, we started to improve the current Klarna app with new functionalities. Lastly, I helped to build up the team by hiring new designers.
